NATIONAL TYRES

Overview

National Tyres is a young and dynamic company that was established in Townsville, North QLD, in September 2020 with a goal of setting up a network of tyre stores to service customers along major transport corridors between connecting towns and cities. We initiated the purchase of four long standing and well-regarded tyre businesses to commence operations from Townsville out along the Flinders Highway. These stores were Twin City Tyres in Townsville, Towers Tyres at Charters Towers and the Hughenden and Richmond Tyre Centres. Several months later an additional store in Mount Isa was added to the network so as to cover the entire run from Townsville out west to Mount Isa.

By merging the current strengths of these five local North Queensland businesses we are able to offer customers the following:

Capabilities and Resources

Management

All National Tyres branches are managed by experienced tyre people with numerous years within the industry.

Accessibiltiy

Each site has at a minimum B-Double access with drive through capacity for ease of truck tyre maintenance with the appropriate machines to offer fitting and balancing services.

Tyre Brands

National Tyres has access to all major tyre brands and suppliers to be able to offer our customers the choice of their preferred tyres to suit their application and needs.

Approved Supplier

National Tyres is an approved supplier to most major fleet companies, government departments and councils.

We are the preferred suppliers to several major corporates and manage their fleets tyre needs at several depot locations and whilst travelling on the road.

Workshops

We have fully equipped workshops at all sites along with each site having service vehicles equipped for call outs to on site tyre replacement and repairs.

Stock

We maintain sufficient tyre stock at all branches so to be able to service our customers’ needs without downtime and extended waiting periods with the ability to move stock between our locations quickly if required.

Trading Accounts

We offer credit trading accounts to all suitably qualified customers with very reasonable payment terms. Once a customer has a valid trading account it can then be used across all National Tyres locations for their convenience whilst on the road away from their home base.
